Céline Sallette is an essential actress who has the gift of melt into her characters, even if it means "erasing herself", as she herself has said on several occasions. However, the actress has a life of her own:

 first in a relationship with the director Laurent Laffargue, with whom she had a little girl, she now shares the life of the architect Philibert Dechelette. Together, they gave birth to a little boy who will celebrate his 3rd birthday on September 25th.


A discreet but very present husband

Of Philibert Dechelette, Céline Sallette does not speak much. The architect, based in Paris, has worked on many projects throughout France, and does not hesitate to appear alongside his companion on the red carpets of major events, but does not address the hurry. 

His Instagram account is private, and the young man is determined to protect his privacy and that of his family. A choice that the actress respects and shares, since her own secrets about her life as a couple and her family life are rare, and generally related to her work.


About her daughter, now 12 years old, Céline Sallette had confided to ELLE to have been almost obsessive in her way of behaving:

Her son finds it difficult to travel

With his son, the situation is different, since little Joseph was born shortly before the explosion of Covid-19 around the world. For the purposes of filming the Canal + series "Infiniti", Céline Sallette notably left to shoot in Kazakhstan, and confides that it has not always been easy for her.

 "Me, I was tested by loneliness and emptiness on this shoot," she told Paris Match. "I have two children. When you are in Kazakhstan for several weeks and your boyfriend and your daughter cannot come to see you because of the Covid and the complexity of the visas, it is dizzying as separation. Nothing is possible in this remoteness."


Moreover, her little boy, at the time aged two, did not appreciate this distance either:

 “Often people ask me if the roles have a cost. If it cost psychologically.
